The Budget / Expense Summary spreadsheet is a tool to help you set up your wedding budget and to track all your wedding expenses. You can set up your budget initially for each major part of your wedding such as ceremony and then break it down for every item in that category. For example, your ceremony budget would include the ceremony site, officiant, marriage license,
rehearsal site and rehearsal dinner.
The Budget / Expense Summary spreadsheet comes with percentages of your total budget entered for each of the main categories or sections of your wedding planing. When you enter the total amount of your budget, the spreadsheet automatically allocates dollar amounts to each section accorting to the percentage entered for that section. These percentages can be adjusted to match your personal style and preferences.
The spreadsheet will also help you keep track of who is responsible for paying for each item and if you are over or under your budget. When a number of people are paying for various parts of your wedding you will need to keep in contact with them to be sure everything is paid for on time and as planned.
The Budget / Expense Summary spreadsheet included with my book, "The Nuts and Bolts of Wedding Planning" is much more comprehensive than the free version but the free version does have plenty of features to get your started and to give you a good idea of how the complete version would work.

The best way to download the files and save them in a place on your computer where you can find them again is to use your right mouse button when you click on the links. When you click your right mouse button on the links you will see a popup window. The wording in that window varies a little depending on what browser you use. Select "Save Target As", 'Save Link As" or the option your browser gives you for saving the downloaded file. You can then choose the location where you want to save it.
